SketchCAD converts construction drawings — PDFs, scans and photographs — into real DWG and DXF CAD files. It runs entirely in your browser. There is no application to download and nothing is installed on your computer. The only file you ever download is your own converted drawing.
Your file is uploaded to our servers, read and interpreted, and converted to CAD using Autodesk Platform Services. The result is kept in this browser so you can download it again, and is deleted whenever you ask. Your drawings and the converted output remain entirely yours.
From a vector PDF the geometry transfers exactly. From a scan or a photo the output is an interpretation of an image. Always check a converted drawing against the original before using it for construction. SketchCAD is a drafting aid, not a substitute for a qualified professional.
